Therapy Services Tailored to You
I offer a wide range of psychotherapy services to meet the diverse needs of my Palo Alto clients. From individual therapy sessions focused on personal growth and mental wellness to specialized anxiety therapy and couples counseling, my goal is to help you explore your inner world and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Individual Psychotherapy
If you’re seeking a place to work through personal challenges, gain clarity, or manage difficult emotions, individual therapy can be a transformative journey. I’m here to help you identify patterns, gain insights, and develop coping strategies tailored to your experiences. Palo Alto’s fast-paced lifestyle can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from ourselves. Together, we can uncover ways to foster a more balanced, peaceful inner life.
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety is one of the most common mental health concerns, and in a high-energy area like Palo Alto, it’s easy to feel pressured to always keep up. If you’re struggling with constant worry, stress, or fear, know that you’re not alone. My approach to anxiety therapy is compassionate, practical, and designed to help you understand the root causes of your anxiety while equipping you with tools to manage it effectively. Together, we’ll work on building resilience and finding relief so you can live more fully and peacefully.
Couples Therapy
Relationships can be both deeply fulfilling and incredibly challenging. For couples in Palo Alto, life’s many demands can sometimes lead to miscommunication, frustration, or feelings of disconnection. I offer couples therapy that provides a neutral, supportive space to work through these issues. Together, we’ll work on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and fostering a deeper emotional connection. My approach is collaborative, helping you and your partner find clarity and understanding to move forward in a healthier, more loving relationship.
Telehealth Services
For those with busy schedules, health concerns, or personal preferences for remote sessions, I’m pleased to offer telehealth services. Virtual sessions bring therapy directly to you, allowing you to receive the same personalized support from the comfort of your own space. Telehealth is a convenient option for residents in Palo Alto who need flexible access to mental health support without the need to commute. Whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go, telehealth enables you to prioritize your well-being in a way that fits seamlessly into your life.
A Multi-Cultural,
Multi-Lingual Approach
Having lived in Santiago, Chile, and spent time in Europe, I bring a multicultural and multilingual perspective to my practice. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I’m able to conduct therapy sessions in either language, providing a space where you feel understood and respected, especially if Spanish is your primary language. My diverse background also allows me to connect with clients from various cultural backgrounds, making my practice a welcoming space for everyone in Palo Alto.
A Supportive Space for Teen and Child Therapy
In addition to working with adults, I also provide therapy for children and teens. Growing up in Palo Alto can be demanding for young people who face academic pressures, social challenges, and the natural transitions of adolescence. My approach to therapy with children and teens includes play therapy and age-appropriate tools to help them express themselves and build confidence. I’m committed to providing young clients with a compassionate, safe space to explore their feelings, gain skills to manage stress, and grow in resilience.
A Compassionate Approach Rooted in Experience
Since 2013, I have worked with clients dealing with a range of issues, from managing anxiety to navigating life transitions and relationship dynamics. My educational background includes an MA in Counseling Psychology and a BA in Latin American Literature, complemented by a minor in German. I’m also an adjunct faculty member at the University of San Francisco’s Education Department. My experiences and training guide my approach, but above all, it’s my commitment to each client’s well-being that drives my practice. I’m here to support you in overcoming obstacles and embracing your personal growth journey.
Complimentary Consultation
Taking the first step toward therapy can be intimidating, and finding the right therapist is crucial. I offer a 20-minute complimentary consultation to give you a feel for how we might work together. During this consultation, I’ll answer any questions you may have, provide insight into my approach, and discuss how therapy can support your unique needs. I do not accept insurance, but we can explore options to make therapy accessible for you.
